Fashion and Art become one in W magazine's annual Art Issue featuring La Linda on its cover.

Linda once stated that she preferred making photographs rather than pictures, referring to things that last and will be remembered. With this disturbing and thought-provoking image she's got a chance to truly embody the artist's ideas. While wearing the classical successful women attire, elegant and polished, her face seems to say that breakfast at Tiffany's went wrong... As reported by W, Maurizio Cattelan said of La Linda: “She’s a still actress. At the end, she was so tuned-in that all she needed were a couple of words and she knew what we wanted.”

Linda Returns to Milan for AIDS Charity Event!

Linda kicks up the glamour factor in Milan

MILAN, September 28 - It's been a good month for Linda sightings! The latest was at amFAR's inaugural event held at La Permanente in Milan, Italy, presented in conjunction with Milan Fashion Week 2009. Linda is no stranger to supporting AIDS-related causes and her name, as we all know, is synonymous with fashion. Linda co-chaired this event with Janet Jackson, Dita Von Teese and the creative team behind DSquared2, Dean and Dan Caten.

Taking her turn at the podium, Linda recalled the death of her first booking agent due to AIDS in the early days of the epidemic. "Those were desperate times for so many of us. I watched him die and helped bury him, not understanding any of it," Linda said. "The fashion industry was especially hard hit by AIDS."

All Eyes On Evangelista!

The Museum of Modern Art in New York was the place to be on Tuesday evening! Following last autumn's opening in Paris, Linda and Notify Jeans guru Maurice Ohayon co-hosted a party to celebrate the opening of Ron Arad's exhibition "No Discipline" at the Museum of Modern Art. And once again, Linda was sporting the innovative handbag that the trio collaborated on. According to one report, all eyes were on Linda. Please visit the gallery for more photos.

The Fun Doesn't Stop!

Perhaps Dior won't be advertising this season due to budgetary constraints, but it's chief designer, John Galliano, is still keeping his own name out there by having Linda front his namesake line in this gorgeous campaign, photographed by Julien d'Ys, of whom we all know gave Linda her famous cut and made fashion history!

It's raining Linda !

Hope you are not fed up with Linda Evangelista's news this week... Because it seems she got out of bed for some time after a long Sleeping Beauty period.

Here she comes in the new Autumn/Winter 2009-10 campaign for John Galliano's brand - galliano, set to spend winter with very girly elegance in shimmering colors. The ad design and Linda's ingenue attitude convey a very romantic feeling to this campaign. Love the way her eyes sparkle in this bohemian chic setting. Does anyone know who's the photographer? Is it Julien d'Ys?
