Preview of New Ad Campaign for Studio Secrets Professional

MADRID- The relationship between Linda Evangelista and L’Oreal Paris has taken a creatively deeper turn as Evangelista has recently collaborated with internationally renowned make-up artist and V Magazine Co-founder, James Kaliardos on Studio Secrets Professional, an all-new product line being introduced under the L’Oreal Paris brand umbrella. The new line made its marketing debut recently at Madrid Fashion Week. This follows the first public test application of the makeup on the models at the Alexis Mabille haute couture show during Paris Fashion Week in January. And it also explains the real reason behind Linda's presence at Mabille’s show. Although Linda didn't make an appearance in Madrid, her new advertising campaign on behalf of this new line was unveiled.

According to representatives at the show, Studio Secrets Professional will make its debut on the Spanish market in mid-April. For those die-hard fans who are craving a bigger glimpse of the new Kaliardos/Evangelista-designed product line and the corresponding ad campaign, check out the Spanish YouTube video filmed earlier this week in Madrid. In the video, when asked about Linda Evangelista’s role in the creation of this new line, Deborah Armstrong, L’Oreal Paris Director of Makeup, stated, “Linda for us has been not only a spokesperson but also the inspiration for this line. She's one of the few models who prefers to make up herself in backstage fashion shows. The line is 100% inspired by all those tricks that she has given to us.”

With spring-summer 2009 campaigns invading fashion magazines, it's the end of Linda Evangelista's spokesperson period for Prada.

It will be hard for me to get over it as I got so used to see Linda everywhere, from optician windows to billboards in airport shopping areas. But no regrets, Linda's Prada season ends on a positive touch : an additional campaign for Prada LG phones ! Its style strongly contrasts with Prada's ready-to-wear line and it's enough to reconcile Linda's with all her fans

We were all focused on Prada and now already switching our attention to Dsquarred2... but we forgot to mention that Linda Evangelista is for the second year in a row the face of Spanish deluxe SPA cosmetics brand Germaine de Capuccini ! Well, all blame on me, the scan has been sitting on my PC for some time as I didn't have time for Levangelista.net. Now it's finally shared.

From the first "Oceanic Feeling" campaign, Germaine de Capuccini has moved to "Earthy Essence" still remaining highly sensory, so endulge your senses.

Mirror, mirror on the wall...

Linda dukes it out with long-time pal Naomi for DSquared Spring/Summer 2009

I don't know what exactly the mirror replied, but Linda Evangelista and supermodel pal Naomi Campbell seem to be in a slight disagreement on the subject and are decided to get the facts straight at all costs in an empty building cave. At least this is the fairy tale vision of beauty by DSquared2 for its new S/S 09 advertising campaign. A preview of the campaign with the 2 attagirls dressed with fetish glamour and lensed by Steven Meiselis available on their web site.

With this fashionable battle, we will surely turn into sports commentators. In this first round, with Noami's hand under her neck, Linda seems in a difficult position. But she is stepping on Naomi's toe.. so if she manages to get better grasp of Naomi's wrists, she might still try a Tenchi Nage technique. Looking forward for the second round.
