A Penchant For Prada!

NEW YORK - Fashion Week Dailyis confirming the fantastic news that Linda Evangelista is reunited this week with iconic fashion photographer Steven Meiseland they are shooting the new Fall/Winter ad campaign for Prada at Chelsea Piers in New York. La Linda's first campaign with Prada adds one more glistening notch to the list of high fashion designers on her remarkable resume.

Linda who told Vogue in August 2006, "All I ever wanted to do is model...It's a very creative process", is currently part of the L'Oreal Paristeam and is also the face of Germaine de Capuccini.

Watch for the PRADA ads to start appearing in the latter part of August!

Levangelista.net restored !

If you visited our site yesterday, your antivirus probably issued a red alert... In fact, we were hacked as Shana mentioned below. Both our gallery and news system were affected. This was scary at the beginning, however after some upgrading, sanitizing and security holes fixing, everything should now be back in order. Kudos to all IT savvy people offering their help on the forums. Sorry for stressing out your antivirus and thanks for your support !

Linda - The Versace Lady

When recently the Italian newspaper Corriera Della Sera published a tribute to Gianni Versace in their fashion supplement, they chose a well known Linda's picture to grace the front page. This picture taken by Irving Penn in 1991 and its incredible longevity made us realize that Linda Evangelista was indeed THE Versace Lady ! During her career, she was featured in more than 10 Versace campaigns. In our gallery we tried to gather them all, but there is still more to come...
